Our Planning Team works exclusively with small towns and rural areas. Our experience in these areas has shown us that nearly every community struggles with the same set of issues. Outdated codes. Inconsistent documents. Critical maps not kept current. Language not conforming to state statutes. Key personnel lacking essential training. Multiple versions of official paperwork.

These problems do not stem from the quality, competence, or capacity of the people involved.  Rather, it is a reflection of the essence of small towns.  We have fewer people, and smaller budgets, yet must still be equipped to handle a myriad of increasingly complicated land use applications

Our planners are frequently asked to assist with a critical application or difficult project. Sadly, the calls are often received late in the process, when the stakes are high and easy solutions are more difficult to find. After a series of particularly difficult and costly situations, we asked ourselves a very simple question:
