Emily Sub-surface Sewage Treatment System Inspection Program

In Emily, we value the good, clean water and are fortunate to have an abundance of it. The lakes and water resources we have in this community drive our economic development and add to our high quality of life. They are a critical resource.

In an effort to maintain this resource, the City of Emily requires that all sewage treatment systems (septic tanks with drainfields being most common) be inspected at least once every five years to ensure they are working properly.

Note: Property owners may use any state-licensed inspector they choose. The option of a City Inspector is provided for the convenience of property owners and so a bulk-rate could be negotiated on their behalf.
