Permit applications can be submitted at the Emily P&Z office most weekdays between 8:30AM and 12:30 PM. Call ahead for time sensitive materials. Applications for conditional use permits, variances, zoning changes or subdivisions are due thirty (30) days prior to the meeting. Regular Planning and Zoning meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month.
The City has sixty (60) days in which to approve or deny all applications, although most take only a few days. Unnecessary delays can be avoided by working closely with the Emily planning staff and by submitting applications as early as possible.
