Emily Parks and Recreation Plan

In August 2003, the City of Emily adopted an Integrated Outdoor Parks and Recreation Action Plan to guide future planning efforts for trails, parks, beaches, wildlife watching areas, and other recreational activities throughout the City. The plan stems directly from the City's Comprehensive Plan, which was adopted in December 2002. The City has taken the first step in implementing the parks and recreation plan by adopting an ordinance that allows for the creation of a Parks Commission.
